Shot through the heart...

I was cleaning out our craft area and came across this...

How worried should I be? Should I start to wear some sort of armour? Luckily the "artist" has been extremely sweet to me lately, showering me with compliments and hugs - is she just try to lull me into some false sense of security so she can surprise attack me?!

don't worry Mychael-Ann, the art and even the straight up comments don't hold much after the moment passes...the proof is your parents are still living AND we're not in the dumpiest nursing home ever built (well, not yet anyway)

What a good artist! :) Oh!

Had a note similiar to that where "A" wrote that she hated me and was running away (!?!?!) What the... Is their life so bad that when I make them get ready for bed earlier than they were planning on that ditching the crib is a better alternative?

I told her I'd help her pack, if that was her choice.

10 minutes later it was as if we were best friends. Can hardly wait until these girls are teenagers:)

That is hilarious. I wouldn't be worried as long as that sort of expressive artistry stays in the house and doesn't make it's way to school.

So funny. When my bro was little he drew a picture for the soldiers at Christmas. It was all in black and white with bright red blood streaming down their chests... Luckily my parents intercepted it before the soldiers got it.

I thought it was hilarious. Dale thought it was disturbing.

Perhaps you thwarted her plans for world domination. Not a bad thing.

Tell your kids to stop growing up! I miss them. (And you and that brother of mine.)

I am dying of laughter over here. How did she know to put 'x's in your eyes?
